HyAcademy and PermittHy Showcase European Hydrogen Skills and Innovation at EFCF 2026

HyAcademy and the Horizon Europe PermittHy project proudly participated in the European Fuel Cell Forum (EFCF) 2026, held from 30 June to 3 July 2026 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Recognised as one of Europe's leading international events for fuel cells, electrolysers and hydrogen technologies, EFCF brings together researchers, industry leaders, technology developers and policymakers from around the world to exchange knowledge and accelerate the hydrogen transition.

Throughout the exhibition, the HyAcademy and PermittHy booth welcomed a large number of visitors interested in hydrogen education, workforce development and permitting best practices. Participants explored HyAcademy's growing portfolio of online courses, training resources and capacity-building initiatives designed to support students, professionals and organisations across the hydrogen value chain.

The exhibition also highlighted the objectives of the PermittHy project, which is developing innovative training programmes and digital learning resources to strengthen knowledge on hydrogen permitting processes across Europe. Visitors had the opportunity to discuss the project's progress, exchange ideas with the consortium members and learn how PermittHy will support faster, safer and more efficient deployment of hydrogen infrastructure.

The event provided an excellent platform for networking with researchers, industrial partners, educational institutions and public authorities, creating new opportunities for collaboration and future training activities. The strong interest shown by visitors demonstrated the growing demand for high-quality hydrogen education and skills development to support Europe's clean energy transition.
