HyAcademy highlighted at the Enagás Corporate University Anniversary

The European project HyAcademy, dedicated to advancing innovative and standardised training in hydrogen technologies, was prominently featured during the event “Talent for the Energy Transition”, held to celebrate the first anniversary of the Enagás Corporate University. The event brought together institutions, companies, and key stakeholders from the energy sector to discuss the skills and competencies required for the deployment of renewable hydrogen across Europe.

Aragón Hydrogen Foundation, a partner of the HyAcademy consortium, participated through its training specialist Mariia Iamkovaia, who emphasised the strategic role of European initiatives in shaping the talent of tomorrow. Speaking during the Hydrogen Technology Observatory roundtable, Iamkovaia underlined:

“The energy transition is not only about developing new technologies, but about building a learning ecosystem that anticipates needs, updates competencies, and prepares the professionals who will lead the deployment of hydrogen.”

HyAcademy and Green Skills for Hydrogen: European pillars for future talent

During her intervention, Mariia Iamkovaia highlighted two key EU-funded initiatives:

Our HyAcademy project which is developing a common, accessible, and highquality training framework to equip students, professionals, and trainers across the hydrogen value chain.

Our sister project Green Skills for Hydrogen focused on defining green competencies and professional profiles aligned with the real needs of the hydrogen sector.

Both projects share a common mission: accelerating the preparation of Europe’s workforce to ensure a competitive, safe, and sustainable hydrogen economy.

A programme featuring leading voices from the sector

The event included contributions from highlevel speakers, such as:

·       Arturo Gonzalo Aizpiri, CEO of Enagás
