In the past three weeks project partner Future.Solutions, together with engineering company PLANET intensively engaged with teachers from secondary and vocational schools in Germany. We trained them on hydrogen classroom experiments and the science and technology that can be promoted through such experiments. The two two-day training sessions in Varel and Oldenburg (in North-West Germany) were organised together with the Green SKHy Interreg project. We also discussed possibilities, options and framework for conducting teacher trainings and delivering hydrogen sessions to pupils with the teachers.
We learnt a lot and had a lot of fun. And we also made plans how we can roll out the experience to the Network 500+ in the HyAcademy.eu project. The 'mobile laboratory' we use to run the trainings has been all set up and is ready for employment. We will be happy to discuss ways this can be used in the Network if schools, municipalities or regions are interested in hosting training sessions. Ask for details.
