Hydrogen Storage Experiment

This experiment on Hydrogen Storage is aimed at students aged 11-14, and was created as part of the HyAcademy.eu Project. As only household items are required, this experiment can be performed at-home, in classrooms or in afterschool clubs.

Hydrogen storage can be a difficult concept to understand so an analogy of a sponge is used for porous rock, making the content accessible for younger students. Follow up questions are also asked to help students understand the wider impacts of hydrogen storage and its potential.
