Students from the Faculty of Agriculture at Trakia University, Stara Zagora, specializing in Ecology and Environmental Protection (EEP), had the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with the European project HyAcademy.EU and its expanding network.
Introduction to HyAcademy.EU
During their visit, the young people were introduced to the network of the HyAcademy.EU project, whose main goal is to promote and develop knowledge and skills in the field of hydrogen technologies.
Special attention was paid to the opportunity for students to freely join and become members of the network. This gives them access to a rich base of educational materials, resources, and up-to-date information on the subject.
Demonstrated Student Interest
The students from the EEP specialization demonstrated strong interest in the presented information. As their education is closely linked to sustainable development and environmental protection, they see hydrogen technologies as a promising green alternative. Many of them expressed a desire to join the network as active members to deepen their knowledge in this innovative field.
Exploring the Innovative Base
The future ecologists had the opportunity to also examine the innovative facilities that Thracian University offers for scientific research and training in the hydrogen sphere:
Safety First
A key focus of the meeting was the topic of safety in the use of hydrogen. Students were presented with the safety techniques mandatory when working with this energy carrier, and discussed protocols, precautionary measures, and good practices.
The meeting confirmed the role of Trakia University as a leading center for training and research in green technologies, providing the EEP students with a valuable opportunity to connect with the future of energy.
